This page lists everything the Toybox Ross website stores on your device, whether as a cookie or in your browser's local storage, and what each item is for. It is a short list.
In short
- We use a small number of essentials to run your basket, wishlist and checkout.
- Two things are optional and stay off unless you agree: remembering the toys you've recently viewed, and showing a Google map of the shop.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
Your choices
When you first visit we ask what you're happy with. Nothing optional is switched on until you say yes, and saying no is as easy as saying yes. You can change your mind whenever you like:
The same “Cookie settings” link is at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice on this device for six months and then ask again.
Strictly necessary
These are needed to provide what you've asked for, such as keeping items in your basket, so the law doesn't require consent for them and they can't be switched off here. Items marked “local storage” stay in your browser and are not sent to us with each page request.

Shop staff who sign in to manage the website also get sign-in cookies (tbx_admin, up to 8 hours, and tbx_zskip, up to 7 days) and unsaved-edit drafts in local storage. Customers never receive these.

Other companies
- Stripe. When you pay, you leave our website for a secure payment page run by Stripe. Stripe uses its own cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Social media. The Instagram, Facebook and TikTok icons on our pages are ordinary links. They don't load anything from those companies and set no cookies unless you choose to follow the link to their site.
What we don't use
There is no Google Analytics or other visitor analytics on this website, no advertising or retargeting pixels, and no embedded social-media feeds. If that ever changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Browser controls
You can also delete cookies and local storage, or block them, in your browser's settings. If you block the strictly necessary items, your basket and checkout won't work.
